    Was not together

I like the story line. But she made a lot of errors. forgetting names and stories starting on one subject and ending with something else. Like the story but it could of been put together more better.

    it was mediocre

it was alright and thats doing this book justice. Now im not gonna bash the book(even though it is highly needed) but I realize that this was based on true events but so the hell what if she was gonna make her life a fictional story then she could have spiced it up a bit cuz homegurl's story line was straight booooooooring but hey i guess she thought she was doing something. I am waitingfor imagine this to come out only because the end of let that be the reason did keep me guessing but well see.

    So-So

This book was just like any other urban book I've read. The plot was the same, the characters were pretty much the same. Nothing really stood out with me, but still an okay read.

    Ummmmmmmm...just OK!

It was cool for what it was but it wasn't all that. Like some of the other reviewers said there were many dry spots and it dragged a bit. It took too long to 'get good'. Towards the end it got better and its one of those books that hold your attention just enough for you to keep reading. I kind of thought it would be alot better than it was. 'Imagine this' should be a lot better now that we got that 'in the beginning' stuff out of the way.

LET THIS BE THE REASON THAT THE NEXT BOOK IS BETTER.

This book was alright, I thought it was going to be the best. It wasn't what I thought it would be. There were continuous dry spots through the book. I finished it because I wanted to find out what happened and it took for ever to get to that part. It was alright and I will read some more books by the author. In the next book I just hope they don't continue to say the title on every page. That is really nerve wrecking.

    I Never Found The Reason

Like some of the others, I found this book to be slow moving. It is not much story telling, which leads to all the dry spots in the book. The book was 75% of her expressing her thoughts and 25% her actually telling a story minus the details that make a book good. She has potential though, maybe after she FINALLY gets over CHINO (that should have been the title of the book), she might be able to tell a better story.

    OKAY!

I really didnt care for this one or the second. It had to many dry spots and I hope that the third will do this trilogy some justice.

    Not What I Throught.

I Read Both Of Vicki Stringers Books, 'Let That Be The Reason & Imagine This... I Was More Impressed With 'Imagine This'. I Really Expected So Much More, Maybe Next Time..

    Angeline Rankin an Alaskan reader

This book was a good example of a single mother that was determined to prove that she didn't need a man to take care of her child.

    Not That Great

The ending of the book was better than the entire thing. My desire to know the ending was the only reason I kept reading. I've read The Coldest Winter Ever, B-More Careful and True To The Game, this does not measure up at all.
