A book with take away value

I'm always interested in the family relations that tie into the story. Gabe knew the secret of her brothers death, but couldn't tell her. Cassidy didn't know if she could trust him if he wouldn't tell her how her brother died. Both are tied to honor and can't compromise their standards. I had to read page after page until I came to the end to find out if they could work things out to my satisfaction. They did.

A great read

I've read several 'Love Inspired Suspense' books before and am often dissatisfied by the weak suspense element and corny romance. This was definitely not the case with Lethal Deception. Lynette Eason does a masterful job of portraying two very realistic characters with whom I readily identified. Several parts made me laugh out loud, they sounded just like something I'd think or say. As for the suspense part, I found it riveting and thought it rivaled that of top storytellers. Eason paints a solid mystery which kept me guessing until the end with a few twists and turns. I was so impressed with this book that I am definitely going to be reading other novels by her.

Turn it into a TV movie

This has all the action and supense for a TV movie. It could even be viewed as a family. I hope there are more coming from this author. I love a clean read.
