I Also Recommend:

A perfect gift for a friend who has no faith

Price is an author of exceptional insight and has an intuitive grasp on what it means to be human. He also has an unique insight in the why and whatfore of what it means to be a human in search of the eternal networking of man and God.
I often recommend his novels for the fine crafting of the human struggle that is called life. I also recommend his books of the spiritual life to those who have friends and relatives who have no belief is a divine essence. Price makes believing real and his sharpness of vision a ground in which to explore the meanings of faith.

This little book, (only an afternoons read), is so chockful of good stuff you will come back to it again and again. It also is a perfect book to give to a friend who has no faith, because as with all his books on faith, he is never hamhanded nor talks down to his readers. What a better world it would be if other writers and speakers of these issues would be more like Mr. Price.

one of the best books ever, on religion or otherwise

This beautiful little book is uplifting, superbly written, moving and thought-provoking. It is a wonderful read apart from any ideas about religion or faith. It is about life and humanity and love and nature and kindness and living life it is really about everything. This is one of the most enchanting books ever, one of the most accessible and readable about the subject and a wonderful look at a great American life. It is for young readers and older ones. You MUST read it and give it to everyone you know, care about and love.

    Loved it!

Wonderful book! Inspiring, easy read, would love it for a church readers' group and a general readers' group discussion, too. It is so well written. It is such fun to read and at the same time it makes you think and touches you, too.
