A must have for teenage girls to combat the lies of culture with the TRUTH of God's WORD

I am thankful for this book which uncovers 25 profound lies that young women believe, but not only young women, even older women can identify with these lies. I appreciate the authors dependence on the WORD of God as the answer to issues concerning beauty and worth and guys and love. I applaud these authors who swim against the current in a culture that suppresses God's truths.

It's been a while since I've read the book. I used it with a small group of teenage girls and their mothers as a biweekly devotion. As soon as I started reading, I could definitely identify with everything! It was a great read, and the girls enjoyed it as well. It's a great tool to open us discussions. There are some issues that mom may forget to deal with/talk about. It may be best to have a forum where the girls are comfortable discussing the issues in depth to, hopefully, deal with them in a Christian manner. I wish I had this book as a teenager.
