Being given a gift that lasted only a few years, but provided such an intense insight into the afterlife - as well as the here and now... Reading this book was the first time I had clarification that I wasn't nuts, and wasn't alone in the belief that I found so hard to explain and share. I have since passed copies to my family, who now not only understand my beliefs so much more, but have in turn passed it to friends, and so forth. Thank you.

I did find one " fact " in the book where she contradicts herself but it could have been a typo or editing error. Overall, it was a very enjoyable book to read.

A nice continuation of her previous book, and...

I found some of this book very difficult to digest because there seemed to be a fantastical tone to it. Where did the Atlantis and other mythical continent come from? Why does the entrance to the 'Other Side' resemble the California coast? These may have been Sylvia's experience, but I would question if a person simply preceives an atmosphere with which he/she is comfortable with? I also find myself wondering where Lindsey Harrison was in this book. It comes off as Sylvia talking about herself and not a whole lot else. I am not discounting that Slyvia may have a real message to share, however, she talks a lot in absolutes and leaves little room for a person's own interpetations. The 'hall of records' talk about paper pushing?! Every culture over time has developed its own philosophy to explain what lies beyond this life. There is likely something of value in each one. With her own church, Slyvia has begun to do just that! The book offers some thought provoking ideas that can give people something to meditate on, but is not to be thought of as a book of absolute answers
