    totally addicting

I absolutely LOVED this book, along with the blog. In one way, you find at least one, if not several, than you can relate to... so you don't feel alone. And the bad ones, as sad as they can get, can also make you realize how good your life really is and puts life in perspective, while the uplifting ones show there is still good in the world. I'm very much addicted, couldn't put the book down, definitely will buy others. :o)

As I flipped through the pages of 'A Lifetime of Secrets', I couldn¿t help but see myself on so many pages - childhood and adult secrets from my past flood the pages, and it¿s a truly emotional journey to read through each secret, sometimes feeling empathy, other times, sadness, heartbreak, and, best of all, hope. One particular secret that strikes me in the book is a postcard that has the simple word ¿someday¿ written on it. Nothing is explained, and somehow, nothing has to be ¿ within that one word is hope, and it seems to sum up A Lifetime of Secrets for me. Beyond our heart-wrenching secrets there is hope for everyone, young or old. We can laugh at some secrets, shudder at others, our hearts may break for some, and yet through it all, at the end of the book, there is hope. The juxtaposition of each secret with another is often ironic, funny, or enlightening. A girl feels ugly in high school and would give anything to be beautiful, while another girl looks back and realizes she was beautiful the whole time. Bright colors contrast with more muted tones, and the final piece of work is a blend of so many voices, pretty much a symphony of secrets. The book shows people at their weakest, most sensitive, and strongest. I would strongly urge everyone to pick it up.

    Frank did it again!!

I find myself lost as i turn the pages of the book. Each secret reveal its deepest and darkest secret. I want to tell everyone who had send their secrets that its really brave of them to do so. Reveal such secrets to rest of the world. Amazingly i found somes of my secret in the book, i feel like i'm not alone anymore and there is people in the world who have the same fear as i am. I really recommended everyone to buy this book, you'll be supprise to see yourself in one of the secret in the book. Maybe is not your secret, but maybe is one of your desire or regrets. I found myself feeply understood the secret within me. I have never send out any of my secret but as the same time there are fews of the secrets just like mines. So i consider set myself free into the book.

    Better than Ever!

THIS is what I've been waiting for! A real, heartfelt, and thick book like the first PostSecret book that I can sit awhile with a cup of coffee and enjoy all day long. Some will make you laugh, and some will bring tears to your eyes, but you can't help but feel alive with these people and a part of their lives that they have brought open to you as you're reading their secrets. It's a great work of art and a great keepsake for your coffee table to share with friends.

    You Are Not Alone!

Frank Warren has provided the world with a skillfully thoughtful reminder that we are not alone in our anger, fears or even our pride. Pick up anyone in the series and you will be amazed. I'd also recommend that you buy "When God Stopped Keeping Score," an intimate look at the power of God and forgiveness. Given the chance, it will change your life.

    Great Gift

I love Post Secret books. It's amazing how touching and relatable they are, yet at the same time, how funny they are. It held my attention for the hour I spent reading it and I know I will go back and read it many more times. Post Secret books make excellent gifts and are great to have in the living room to start conversation. Anyone can relate to these. The only complaint I have with this particular Post Secret collection is that you have to constantly turn the book sideways because of how the post cards are laid out.

    Return was difficult/Book is terrific

My daughter loves the book so much, she purchased another one in the series. However, when I purchased this for Christmas, I learned Grandma had already purchased the same book for her already.

After receiving an email telling me the shipment was delayed, offering me a link to cancel the order, I selected the link to do so; however, I received what appeared to be an auto-generated msg telling me oops, I could not cancel as it was already in process.

A day after ... I received another email apologizing for the delay in shipping and the book might arrive by Christmas, so I contacted B&N Customer Service phone line to return the book.

Finally, we arrived at the conclusion, I could return at the local store, but to get credit for the shipping, I had to call Customer Service again after the book was returned.

Bottom line ... daughter is happy with book from Grandma, I received credit for book and shipping after two emails, two phone calls and a trip to the local store, which I felt was a bit much just to return a book, which was offered to cancel via email but rejected when attempted to do so.

Oh well, not going to stop me from returning to B&N.

here's a secret: this book is weird & depressing

this book depressed me. I wish first that I had not bought it, I wish second that I had not read it. Made me feel dirty just reading the things people wrote, but I read it anyway.

    The Best Kept Secret

For the past three years I have dedicated every Sunday to share a moment with others who might share my secrets. Frank Warren's art project offers much more than just a creative outlet, it has allowed so many people to come together in ways our society might have never thought possible. This third addition to an ongoing collection is much more fierce than before. This collection will bring you to tears, make you laugh, and maybe even squirm a little. If fate might have it's way, it may also bring you closer to your partner and loved ones. This book is a must-have for everyone. Support Frank Warren's efforts by purchasing this book. You won't regret it. (Mail in a postcard... It honestly does make you feel better.)

The PostSecret books are a refreshing reminder of the commonality of people in the world. Our mistakes, wishes, and struggles. In a world that is so media-obessed, it is nice to give voice to 'all the other people.' While reading the secrets, you can't help connect to those you share with others, and reflect on what you would write if you had to. Well done Mr. Warren!
