I liked it but...
Clearly the author Pheonix Uriela can write. The problem is writing too much. The book had a unique origination with the warriotrs themselves and thier abilities, tied into futureistic technology. But, often there was too much dialogue about specific topics that made me feel like a student in school myself, watching the clock drag sooo slowly....Was this review helpful? Obviously the author wished to incorporate Asian martial arts and philosophy into space travelling time, which is great. But is such technology is available such as spaceships with weapons, the question begs an answer as to why the warriors use bladed weapons and dont have distance weapons like lasers etc.
I actually flipped several pages and didnt miss anything important. Id say half of the book could have been eliminated or streamlined, without hurting the story.
But, there is no doubt that learning less is more, when appropriate, the author will become more than just good. In fact, I offer this critique to help so I can read more!
