    Fantastic Read!

Carol Schede is one of my favorite authors, hands down. The combination of her delightfully wicked sense of humor and her rich, sensuous love scenes always guarantees an excellent read. Like A Virgin is classic Schede. I laughed, I cried, and I can't wait to read her next book.

    I love it!

To me, Like A Virgin is a wonderful, heartwarming funny read. I really enjoyed Sarah and could see the crazy route she took to learn about love and life and trust and letting go of her fears. Sarah's dad has just announced he's getting married again, and his fiance is expecting. Sarah then, in a rash move, blurts out that she is also pregnant. Now she must act quickly, and that's where a friend, relationship-shy Jake, comes in. But the tables turn on both of them when he decides Sarah needs to learn about love and lovemaking, even if it takes them right to the same church to which Sarah's dad is headed. I won't give away all the delightful, teary, heartwarming and fun twists this story has, because I know you'll want to read it. Ladies, if you're wondering about your life, you should buy this book, even just for your own Valentine's Day present to you. If all those relationship books and how to books are the cheesecake of reads, Like A Virgin is the whipped cream on top. And we all deserve a little whipped cream.

    Outstanding!

If you're looking for a read that will make you laugh and cry by turns (and sometimes laugh until you cry), this is it. Sarah and Jake are a wonderfully mismatched couple who turn out not to be so improbable. And Carol Schede has got the perfect voice. Funny, sexy, poignant.
