    pretty good

i'm only a beginner so this book was very helpful in explaining things like the different characteristics of yarn and how to read the charts. I love that it comes in e-format so i don't have to carry around a heavy book every where i go!

    Anti left handed

If you are a lefty, Chin's solution to your problems is that you relearn to knit righty. Knitting uses both hands after all. This is pure garbage. If handedness did not matter, stockinette would be knitted back and forth, no turning the work for purl rows. Lefties, save your money.

    Super Informative Knitting Handbook

Lily Chin has graciously shared a plethora of valuable knitting hints. The book is well-organized and easy to follow. The illustrations are helpful and simple. The book itself is small enough to carry in a knitting project bag. Her knowledge of knitting techniques is amazing and what she offers the knitter is a chance to fabricate a beautiful product.

    Do Not Recommend

The title Knitting Tips and Tricks should actually read....."Learning the Basics of Knitting. The average knitter already knows her "tips and tricks" although I didn't read any tricks. Waste of Money.....I suggest Knitting for Dummies. I paid $9.99 to learn not to buy another Lily Chin book!
