    Highly recommended

    This is a book for the narcotic reader. The book tells of a very young, impoverished girl - wanting a better life and an older man mesmerized by her beauty. She uses her beauty to obtain the life she wants. However, the life she wanted is not the one she gets. The story has a surprise ending, which bring Doctor Zhivago to mind.
    I recommend this book for the book club discussion.
