    Live to Tell

As usual - Wendy is a great writer. Couldn't put this book down! A little different is the way Wendy jumped back and forth between characters. However, I liked it well enough to buy Scared to Death - the sequel. I have read Wendy for many years and have enjoyed her thoroughly. One of my favorite writers!!!! Highly recommend this book -

Had me hanging until the end

This was well worth the price!!! Had to hang in there in the beginning because it bounced around a little to different characters until it had everyone tied in. Once the groundwork was layed....WOW!!!

    highly entertaining suspense thriller

A man is being chased and he needs a place to hide a memory stick. He steals a young girl Sadie's rabbit and leaves it at the lost and found at the Grand Central subway station

In Glenhaven Park, New York Lauren Walsh struggles to cope with losing her husband to another woman. However, Lauren notices someone watching her house especially her daughter Sadie. Her child tells her mom someone entered her room because the invisible wire she put on the door is on the floor.

Republican gubernatorial candidate right wing Garvey Quinn has a secret if revealed would destroy his political career. He has someone seeking the individual with the information that would ruin him. One of his trusted aides says it is inside a pink rabbit dropped off at a lost and found. Sadie's father picks up a pink dog as that is what he though his angry ex ordered him to find. Quinn's aide targets the Walsh family as he will do whatever it takes to obtain the memory stick. Meanwhile Elsa Covington mourns her son abducted a decade ago; Quinn is the tie between these two moms.

This highly entertaining suspense thriller grips the audience who knows what is happening but not why as whatever Garvey conceals at any cost to others remains unknown but tantalizes readers into trying to guess the answer. Garvey makes the tale work as a fully developed villain who uses loyal people to commit crimes that cannot easily be tied to him so he can claim plausible deniability. Lauren is reeling with the ugly divorce, but remains strong especially a lioness protecting her cubs. Fans will root for her and Elsa knowing anyone who accidentally ends up inside of Garvey's circle either as a friend or not is an expendable pawn.

    Kept me on the edge

Great Read. I love they way it skips around to all the characters and then brings them all together in the end. A little tough to keep up at first but that's what makes is so great.

    Kept me guessing!

Family, excitement, jealousy, love, fear, and suspense, LIVE TO TELL, by Wendy Corsi Staub, has it all! This is the first Wendy Corsi Staub novel I have read, and without question, I am impressed. I will most definitely follow this author. I cannot wait for the sequel!
You would think that raising three children, in suburbia, would be relatively predictable. Not if you are Lauren Walsh and your husband, who is apparently having a midlife crisis, with an older woman none-the-less, somehow manages to bring home the wrong stuffed animal from lost and found and connects your family to political secrecy, crime, and murder. This well written story keeps you guessing throughout the book, and guessing wrong at that. I love a suspense novel that I am unable to predict, and LIVE TO TELL, was that for me. If you are looking for a page-turner, take a look at this one.

    Not a great read

This book was predictable. I have read her other books and they were great. This book was reptitious. I would not waste my time reading it.

    Beginning too fragmented

The beginning chapters kept moving to and from different character reference points; by the time each point converged, the story was too unbelievable. OK read, but disappointed at the end.

    Awesome!

This book had me entertained all the way to the end! I took a chance on an unknown (to me) author, and I was NOT disappointed! I am now onto finding the next book in this series. What an ending!

    great weekend read!

This was a surprisingly good read... for me it started out slow, getting to know the characters, but Staub did a great job creating her characters and bringing them to life. Some parts were a bit predictable, but there was a great twist at the end. I will definitely check out the next book in the series.

    Kept my attenton

Very interesting the way multiple characters were pulled together at the end. Kept your attention waiting to see how they were connected. A few confusing spots to me, but overall very good
