Endearing Llama Llama
This is the third Llama Llama book my children have and it might be the best yet. Llama Llama is still as endearing as ever in this story about growing up. Of course, Mama is here to provide love and support to Llama Llama. A wonderful book!

Llama Llama Missing Momma is a winner for two year olds
I bought this book as an present for my twin grandsons who are almost two. They already have Llama Llama Red Pajama and Llama Llama Mad at Momma. They love this one as much as the others. Every night they after their baths they go get the three books and we read them. They start crying when you are done with all three and want you to read them again. All you have to say to get them laughing is Llama Llama. It's really great. They will sit still for an hr with those books. Can't wait until there is another one.

Great book
My daughter really enjoys this book. She has even talked about how llama shouldn't be scared and how making friends is fun. I always reassure my girls we will always come back and get them, she commented on that at the end of the book. Buy all 3, you won't regrett it :)

Great for the Pre School Age!
I snuggled my 4 year old and he said "I don't think I like this book" BUT after 2 pages he loved it and begged me to read it again and again since last month, llama llama has become the top requested books. Charming stories and rhymes and art work. I think this helps kids learn about chores, being afraid and missing their parent and we talk about what llama can do to feel better or make shopping more fun. Great present idea!

3 yo LOVES llama llama!
I got this story for my 3yo daughter, she LOVES this story because you can use excitement, sad, wonder, or any other emotion when reading this book and children just love it! They can really relate to baby llama, they feel his fear and shyness and sadness, as well as his excitement when mama llama returns... GREAT story the preschoolers will just LOVE!!!! There is one point in the story where the teacher is reading a story and baby llama says "llama llama hates that book"... but I just substitute "llama llama doesn't like that book" instead... but all-in-all, I give it 5 stars!!!

Great Buy
One of the best books I've bought for my daughters! The cover first caught my attention and the story lines and rhyming sealed the deal. My daughters love to have books read to them and this is one that they ask for every night at bedtime. My three year old is into finding words that rhyme and this book sure fits her. She's getting ready to start preschool in the fall and Llama Llama Misses Mama is helping us teach her what to expect. We have also purchased Llama Llama Mad at Mama and absolutely love the story. I'm sure many mothers and fathers can relate to having their children lose their calm while shopping. Looking forward to buying the other Llama Llama books.

A big hit for this Grammy
Warm hearted stories. delightful rhythms and illustrations. The first I bought for my 2 year old grandson and his 4 year old sister fell in love with it. Shecan almost read along with not she's heard it so many times now. Have since bought Llama Llama Mad at Momma and Llama Llama Red Pajamas. We love them all!

This book was great because he will be going to Kindergarten next year and it helped to address some of the fears of starting somewhere new. He even took it to his preschool class to share. All of the kids loved it. -

Worthwhile Purchase
My two grandkids 4 and 2 loved this book. They insisted it be read to them no less than 10 times a day for 5 days. The 4 y/o is starting preschool and he really enjoyed listening and then reading it to me. The 2 y/o loved the pictures and the rhyming. Absolutely kept them engaged. Get the hardback.

Love the Llama series
We love the Llama Llama series in our home. While it lacks the same extraordinarily high level of appeal of "Llama Llama Red Pajama," it is a wonderful well-written children's book.

Great for Back to School
This is a great back to school book or for little ones entering school for the first time. It relates to the feelings the kids have going to school better than other school books and then, of course, ends with mama llama coming back and little llama figuring out that he can love school and mama too. Used this for my kindergartener and preschooler and they both loved it.

Great book if your child is feeling anixous about preschool or even daycare
My 2 and 4 year old girls just love the llama llama books and so do I! Funny how as parents sometime we try to avoid books with a lot of words. I think this is a happy medium and definately has a great message in all 3 books that teaches children good lessons about life and growing up!

Llama Llama And Her Mama
This series of books by Anna Dewdney really capture the special bond between the adorable Llama Llama and the loving mother. Your kid's hearts will melt while reading these touching stories and this one just may be the best.

WE LOVE LLAMA LLAMA SERIES!!!
We purchased this after falling in love with the first "Red Pajama" book, and adding the second "Mad at Mama" book to our collection. This is typical of the series--cute, bouncy, flowing, fun to read, etc. I've turned my sister, brother, and their children on to this series as well. My 4 and almost 2 year-old girls LOVE them. As a parent, I love reading them. The rhythm, as well as illustrations, make it fun for "big kids" too. And oh the opportunities for doing character voices...I LOVE IT!
