a great book for anyone who has ever felt like a tourist in their home city
Local follows one character (mostly) on her journey through a number of different cities in North America. Each move to a new city teaches the main character, Meg, new things about how to be a person in the real world. The drawings for each city do a great job of showcasing familiar local architectures. Local takes place in Minnesota, Oregon, Veremont, Arizona, Canada, New York City among others, and in each of these cities it feels like the author and artist have been to the location. It's a great book and an enjoyable read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
