Catchy stories that will keep you scratching your head
In Loch Ness Monsters and Raining Frogs, Albert Jack gathers together 30-plus of the the strangest, oddest, and most bizarre mysteries of all time, and then "solves" each one by breaking it down into the most essential elements, and looking at only the truly relevant facts, all in chapters that take less than 15 minutes to read.
How well Jack does at solving each mystery is up to the reader to decide. Each one is thoroughly discussed, from the famous ghost ship Mary Celeste, found completely deserted and abandoned in the Atlantic Ocean in 1872; whether Bigfoot really exists; who ia the real Mona Lisa; who killed Marilyn Monroe?; etc. The individual tales are engagingly written and hold your interest.
As to his sources, Jack doesn't list any, at least in the e-book version. That might be an issue for people who like to know where the author gets his facts from. For people who just prefer a good read, kick back your feet and enjoy.
