Lone Wolf (Wolves of the Beyond Series #1)

Great book, looking forward to the next one!

I absolutely loved this book from the start i opened it! I do have to say that i think reading kathryns first series, Guardians of Ga'Hoole will help you understadn the book better. It mentions a little about the Gaurdians of Ga'hoole and reading those might help explain things when your confused. I didnt read her first series and found it a tad confusing, but i kinda figured it out on my own. I would recamend this book, it is a good read and you wont want to put the book down once you start! I do have to say that i think the age group should be raised up to about ages 10 - 14 or 15. SOme of the language might be hard for an 8 year old.

Good Read for Wolf Lovers

I've got to say there aren't enough books about wolves out there. That alone made me buy this book. It was also by an author I'd read before, and it has gorgeous cover art. The story was interesting, and very enjoyable to read. Some things I found a little strange or confusing. I won't say what because that would give things away. But if you look past the oddness/confusion in some parts, it really is a good story and I cannot wait for the second book!

Highly Recommend

This book is about a baby wolf born with a deformity, so was rejected by the wolves in his pack. It tells of his life adventures living with a mother bear and learning about the other animals of the forest. I think this is a good book about overcoming obstacles in life and growing up. I recommend it to all ages for a feel good light hearted read.

I absoulutly love this book it was very exciting to read. It takes a while to get into it but when you do its absoulutly wonderful. I would recommend everyone who likes wildlife for this book.

I purchased the series for my daughter's birthday. She is 9 and was enthralled with the book. I highly recommend the book and the series!

Lone wolf is a great story about love and survival and its told in a great way by the author. some thiink its confising but i figured it out on my own and kept reading. This book should be read by 10year olds not 8year olds.

Wolves are awesome! this book is very adventurous. I have the first three books of this series in paper form. Highly reccomended to ages 9-12. If you love wolves, grizzlies, and adventure then this is the right book for you. It is about a wolf named Faolan who is a malcadh, or " cursed" wolf because he had a splayed paw. The clans cant have any imperfect wolves, so he is left to drown, but thunderheart the grizzly fpund hin and takes care if him. Will Faolan ever make it back to the packs? If he does, will he be treated as a gnaw wolf forever?
