I really enjoyed this book. My father in law died with complications of alzheimers' disease. We watched him go down hill and never really understood what he may have felt while he was spiraling..This author is very specific with details on the emotions and the sorrow he is feeling as he sees himself declining. I really felt his pain and really appreciated his research on the disease, that is also in this book. He really is on a path to help the reader to understand this disease,what the patient or the (victim) I should say goes through and also what his family goes through with him,such as long term grief of different kinds for both. I wonder how he is now, and have said a prayer for him, and will be more aware of others with this disease and more compassionate, and to thank God everyday for being healthy and my family being healthy and to live each day as a blessing from God. This author is a wonderful author and story teller and I recommend this book to anyone to read,it will cause you to go inside yourself and make sure you take good care of yourself on things you can control. Also, I would have to say to make sure your relationship with God is close, because we never know what tomorrow will bring.
