This is the method I used to lose about 50 lbs., with 1 exception. When I cooked a recipe from a healthy cookbook, I portioned out my serving size. At first I wanted more than a serving size, so I didn't deny myself but gradually worked my way down to a normal size. Now a serving size satisfies me.
Good book with really good info on how to shop--who knew some of those things that can sabotage getting healthy. Really good info.
