Hot and Intense

Wow. That is how i described this book. The chemistry and heat happens quick between Emma and Jackson and it soon builds to an intense and obsessive storyline that i literally could not go to bed until i finished it! If you love steamy love scenes you will not be disapp...

If you love steamy love scenes you will not be disappointed - the passion is crazy. If you have the patience to hang on until the end its worth it :)

Don't believe the hype

Not well written, and not particularly hot either. I bought this one on the strength of the reviews. I now wonder if they were written by friends or family members because the book is so-so at best. Dialogue is awkward and the first person narrative is not done well....

    Really?

This book had potential to be good, but it was so poorly written I had a hard time with it. I felt zero connection with the main character due to it skipping from one thing to the next. I purchased this based on other reviews. I wonder what book they were reading? I truly became a speed reader just to get through this book. That is not a good thing by the way. When I read a book I want to enjoy it. Not look forward to it being done.

    Surprised by the raving reviews

Let me start by saying I am a sucker for romance and this book had it's romantic moments. Unfortunately not enough in my opinion to have such high praise. This book moved at a snail's pace at times and other times it was so unbelievable (not in a good way) I found myself scanning the pages to be finished with the scene. I gave it a generous two stars for the quarter of the book I enjoyed.

    Good transition

This was a good transition book to b able to read something other than 50 shades . I couldnt move onto other books! I wouldnt say this was great but it was ok? I found the repeating misunderstanding HIGHLY annoying!!!!! Like the author couldnt come up with anything else.

    Ok

I bought this book based on all the positive reviews. It was just ok. The story line was flat and the characters weren't well developed. It was actually quite predictable. You can't even compare this to 50 Shades or Bared to You!

    Poorly written and predictable.

The other reviews must have been written by the author, and her agent, or friends. This book is a poorly written Victorian rewrite, complete with an ex lover who tries to commit suicide by driving into a tree, ending up paralized, and the heroin leaves the man she loves out of guilt for him.

    Meh.

At first i thought this was pretty good. Yes, the passiom moved fast, but i still liked it. As the book continued, it became repetitive, unoriginal, and slightly boring. Soon I felt like I was reading 50 Shades of Grey, but with different names. It was a cute story, but i wouldn't reccomend.
