    I Also Recommend:

    Tough format

I have read every other book by Cecelia Ahern so I thought I would finally get to this one. The characters are great and the story works well. The writing format was very challenging to read. Unfortunately I do not read in instant messages format on a daily basis which was a challenge getting thru the book. If you can get past the format then this is a great book to read.

Not at good as her other books!

I absolutely love Cecelia Ahern... I recently read Thanks for the Memories (her newest book) and couldn't put it down. Therefore, I had to go out and buy her other books. I read Love, Rosie last night... I was good, but not her best. I enjoyed the story, but as some of the other reviews have said, the middle of the book seemed pointless to the story. There were actually parts that I skimmed through just to get to the end. I'm sure many girls can relate to this book though, and that is why it's so touching... falling in love with your best friend.

    Great potential, weak ending

After reading P.S. I Love You last year, I was really excited to read Love, Rosie. I enjoyed the honest and humerous exchanges between characters and the novelty of the format, but I have to agree with another reviewer that the repetitiveness of the middle section of the book and the sometimes frustration of watching these two characters repeat their mistakes was difficult to push through. I was most disappointed, given that, when the ending was so anticlimactic. For trudging through the length of this story, I felt I deserved a more satisfying ending and I was left feeling kind of let down. This author has great style and wit and her story ideas are great, she just needs to cut to the chase a bit and give us an ending we can sink our teeth into.
