    Fabulous Inspirational Read

I bought this book because I was present when a friend got it as a gift. It is not what I thought it was going to be. A Love Worth Giving is a motivational and spiritual explanation of unconditional love that we all receive and can learn to give. It is written and explained in simple language,as only Max Lucado can do. The result is a transcendent journey.

If you want love, you got it!

I was looking for a book that would explain my sometimes un-christian-like bad attitude, impatience and temper. God lead me to this book and I came to a revelation while reading this book! The book is centered around the love chapter in I Corin. 13 and it reads like a novel, you can't put it down. The basic premise is that it is impossible to show love to others when you do not feel/understand the love God has for you. Once you understand God's love for you your life will transform! Get this book if you want to change your whole attitude about love and how you show it to other people. Believe me, you won't be dissappointed. I pray that God will touch and change your heart like He did mine after reading this book.

    Excellent Book

I'm reading this book with my high school girls small group and we really like it. It is a very good book and it really helps me realize the little things that I've been doing that are lame and not christiain-like. I highly recommend reading this book on your own or in a group setting. Max Lucado is a good writer and always ties the Bible into what he is writing.

    This book brings transformation

The author does an amazing job in revealing the true fact that if you don't have a relationship with God who is Love, then you are not qualified to express true love. Afterall, you cannot give what you yourself don't have. God is love, and everyone that wants to give Love must have God, who is Love.

This book is a ministry of healing.

A book that is almost impossible to put down once you get into it. It speaks to your heart and brings you to pools of healing as you learn of the Love of God.

    Great For Evangelism!

Max Lucado is amazing! Not only is this book a must read for Christians, it is also a great book to give those who don't know Christ because it shows Him in His essence. I recently read another book titled The Gravel Drive by Kirk Martin that every parent must read, but that can also be used for evangelism. I read excerpts at thegraveldrive.com and was hooked! Like Lucado, the author knows how to explain with simplicity the nature of God. Please keep on writing Max!
