Re

An interesting look into the REAL life a celebrity lives. I read it in one sitting. Like a train wreck, it is impossible to look away.

I read this book and finished it feeling "dirty" from both sides of this ??love affair??. All I can say is, form your own opinion.

    Pity!

This read left me feeling pity for George C. Scott, a talented actor that I had always enjoyed, and Karen Truesdell Riehl, his mistress and author of this book. It is so sad that these two had the mental/emotional/self-esteem problems that they had - will definitely see George C. Scott in a different light when viewing his performances now. I, like one of the other reviewers wrote, felt "dirty" from both sides of the "love affair" if you can call it a "love" affair, after reading this book.

    recommend

a well written but sad story about a famous actor. Was sorry to hear of his troubles outside of his screen performances--which my husband and I always enjoyed. Not good if you are let down knowing the problems of an actor you enjoyed.

How to let an obsession ruin your life

Not very well written but interesting. An infatuation goes terribly wrong with a bipolar alcoholic.
