/ This book was brilliant. I was intrigued from the moment I read the title. I mean, Love with a Chance of Zombies sends your brain to all sorts of places. Then I read the blurb, and I was hooked. I’m happy to say Ms. Dryden delivered. The details, plot, and characterization were done so well I felt like I was watching a Sci-fi Movie in my head. Here’s the skinny, a zombie apocalypse has decimated the earth and the few of us left are gathered together in compounds, trying to outlast, and find a cure.

Now that the scene is set I can talk about the crack shot, smart mouthed, harder than nails heroine, Lena. She was amazing! Any girl who uses a rifle painted pink with flowers to pick of zombies is a winner in my book. Raised by survivalist , but shunned for her big brains he was pretty much tailor made for surviving the zombie hordes. This refreshing gal made the dark times she lived in light hearted, and was the perfect candidate for a top secret mission.

Whiz kid turned savior scientist, Lucas Nye, is closing in on the cure to the zombie virus when he’s attacked in an ambush and bitten. Now he’s got two to six weeks to figure things out before he’ s put down by his guardian, Lena. More than Bunsen burners hear up in the lab, and faster than you can say boo Lena and Luke are engaged in some steamy extracurricular activities.

Don’t be off put by the mention of zombie in the title. This sexy, smart, action packed story would please any romance reader.

    Fabulous post-apocalyptic romance!

I loved this story - Delphine Dryden created an intriguing and scary post-apocalyptic world where zombies are an everyday danger. Her Hero is a hot scientist and her heroine is relatable and kick-ass (pink rifle, yay!) too.

I'd love to see another couple's story set in this zombie-infested world. I'd buy it up in a second - and I'd pay a lot more than 99 cents for it too. I felt like I was *stealing* this novella at 99 cents!
