Love the story but the typos are making me crazy!

Great story..interesting characters..hooked me from the beginning! The typos are ridiculous though. Die instead of the....really? I am reading it on a nook so I do not know if it is an editing issue or a nook issue but it is damn annoying.

Intriguing

I enjoyed this book, which kept me intrigued all the way through... until the end. The end was a bit of a disappointment, as there was over 500 pages of details, only to end the book abruptly in about 2 pages. A bit predictable, but a good read nonetheless.

    It is what it is....

....And what it is is a big glossy Jackie Collins novel, with everything you'd expect. Pretty people. Wildly improbable coincidences. Steamy (and apparently unprotected) sex. Purple prose galore. Happy endings for the pretty ones neatly wrapped up by the final chapter. Ms. Collins does keep up the pace, though, which makes the book nice mind candy when you have a few hours to spare. I do wish she had tried talking with an actual 5-year old before attempting to write the dialogue for one in her book. A kindergartner is FAR beyond 'Me like pancakes' and 'Want more! More! More!' Such 2-year old conversational skills would get her laughed out of the classroom by other kids. And the author gets her usual message across loud and clear: only the beautiful are entitled to success, wealth, and love. Guaranteed to lower your IQ by 15 points

    Not her best

I hope the follow up is better. This book was way too predictible for me and the storyline was more than a bit boring. Seems like Ms. Collins is trying to change her writing style a bit she did an EXCELLENT job before, she didn't need to change a thing!

    Just Ok

This was by far not the best Jackie Collins could have done. It seemed like absolutely nothing happened with the plot. It was extremely predictable and the ending was less than climactic. I agree with the other reviewer that the dialogue was ridiculous and childish.

    Not Sure

This is a real melting pot of a book that does not quite hit it. A charicature of real life - just suspend belief and youl'll like it.
