This book had me reading for hours! I absolutely love it, from the start to the very end. L.P. Dover did an amazing job creating a book filled with twists that had me guessing the ending. It's definitely an emotional rollercoaster ride. Korinne had everything she ever wanted in her life, but one day tragedy strikes and her husband dies in a car accident. Filled with grieve, she moves back to her old town and decides to spend time alone to get herself back together. But just when she thought her life was taking turns for the worst, her best friend Jenna comes in to rescue her by taking her to a party where she sees non other than her ex-college boyfriend. What Korinne didn't know was that her friend was already making matchmaking plans. Having a history together, Korinne embarks into a new adventure when she starts seeing Galen (only as friends), but things soon start heating up and the two can no longer hide what they're feeling inside. With that said, Korinne will have to make a choice whether or not to move on with her life with Galen or grieve the lose of her husband and stick to her old life.

There are a lot of choices that Korinne has to make throughout the book that make her vulnerable, she seems to be not ready to have a future with Galen and that's a tough choice to make. Whereas Galen is one those characters that are just so kind and is willing to do just about anything for her. I enjoyed reading their moments together, the writing made those scenes stand out from the rest of the story. There were also times when the book had me guessing, and the ending twists! I couldn't stop reading without finding out what was going to happen next. Overall, the story made it to my favorite's list and I recommend everyone to read it, you will not regret it.

Do you believe in second chances? How about fate? In Love's Second Chance a couple that was perfect for each other in college separated and went their own ways, one got married and the other became the head of the family company.

For Kori, she loses her husband and has a hard time dealing with the loss. Six months have passed and she realizes it's time to let go and start living. She moves back to Charlotte and her life.

Galen hasn't forgotten the love of his life. Years have passed and he still loves her as he did then. He learns of her husband passing and wants to reconnect with her.

IT was a bittersweet story and the journey to their happiness was not easy, smooth, or perfect but it ended that way. I did enjoy this and look forward to the second story!

    Just amazing!!

Love's Second Chance by LP Dover

    Rating 5*****

This book was provided from the author in exchange for honest literary review.

I am a huge fan of this author's fae series, so I was definitely curious to see what her contemparary romance was about. This was just amazing.
Kori lost herself after her husband passed away suddenly. The author communicated her loss and pain so vividly, I was balling right with the characters at times. The more you read the better it gets.

Once Galen (love the name by the way) is reintroduced to Kori it opens a huge gateway of memories. Both of them loved their time together in college, but unfortunately it was not meant to be. Now there is no way he is letting Kori walk away again.
While this is fiction, one of the things that I loved the most is that it is very realistic. It shows that there is some bit of light and hope even in the darkest of situations. Sometimes in life we do get that chance to do things over.
The author really evokes emotion in this one. I loved reading ot and actually it was a one sitting read for me. As with all her books, editing is superb and the flow and content is stellar. It is one you will both recommend to your friends and read again and again. Excellent novel!!!

I was given an ARC in exchange for honest review.

This was a very sweet book about Second Chances.

Korinne and Galen were each others first loves in college but go their separate ways when Korinne transfers universities. While they are both heartbroken to end it they know they cannot make a long distance relationship work. While apart they both move on and in the end Korinne marries someone else. Galen never gets over his love for her but tries to move on once he knows she married.

A few years later tragedy strikes leaving Korinne a widow. Months after losing her husband she decides to return home. Her best friend decides she needs a little push to start living again and takes her to an office party Galen is having. They are both nervous seeing each other again but instantly find the old connection.

The both fall in love all over again and Galen wants to do everything he can to make her happy again. Then again tragedy strikes but this time there is a HEA in more ways than one.

This book is full of emotional ups and downs but is definitely worth reading and gets 5 stars.

While I was missing some more of the back and forth between the couple and the hesitation of getting involved, I found this book very good. It was extremely erotic and romantic. It took me on a mountain of emotions; sadness, anger, romance, etc. It was very well-written and I enjoyed it very much. I fell in love with the characters easily and quickly, because I wanted them to be happy. I think this is every woman’s dream and I was very satisfied with the way the author wrote it.
