Both have lost a dear person that changed their lives. Olivia only steps back to confront her old life because her dad needs her. In a major battle within herself and God she has to face the past and learn to love beyond the fear she has of losing control of things she can't control and give it over to God.

Jon's self-sacrificing almost pushed the one person he has ever loved completely away. But God has his ways of having his say.

Truely a beautiful story of forgiveness

    Pulls on your heart strings

    It was a good short story that tugs on your heart strings. This is a Christian fiction book.

    DaySorrow,
    <p>
    I never wanted to make an enemy within my own clan. Knowing that l am hated hurts; especially when its not just in nook world...but l wont bring you into that for personal reasons (no offense). Since the first day you walked into RainClan, l envied you...your beauty spoke words that no one could describe...you ha a powerful aura about you that l told myself "there is no way that l can compete with her"; so l stopped...but when you went catnapped, l became concerned. I didnt want to show weakness but l tried searching for you. All i ask now is that we put this ignorant dispute behind us and not hold a grudge against one another...it would kill the clan to have them see the first two shecats here fighting over something simple as mates...and please understand that i was never dramatic. The only thing i did was with DawnPaw only because she is my apprentice. Im sorry if EmberStars decision hurt you but you did say that you wou respect any decision he made. (Please dont use the catnapped portion; i know, and to be honest l think it was unfair). Again, lm sorry and l hope we can come to terms

    When the going got tough – Olivia ran.
    Olivia’s always thought that she trusted in God not man, but when her man didn’t return from a fishing excursion her faith faltered, and she ran. Now, she’s returned to her hometown and is trying to begin again without picking at old scabs.

    Jonathan has loved Olivia forever and he’s done waiting. He was patient while she was engaged to his best friend. He gave her time to grieve. She’s back and it’s time to take action – if God approves, that is.

    Hott Review:

    What I liked: This is a very sweet romance of enduring love – not just man-woman love but God-person love. It’s a great reminder to trust in the Almighty and allow Him to guide your path instead of you showing Him which way is best.
    What I didn’t like: There were times it was a bit slow and uneventful for me.

    Okay

    Liked that the people learned God's lessons and were decent, likeable enough. Just never really got into it. It wasn't bad, I just didn't really care what happened to them. Maybe because it was short it didn't go very in depth but would not have really wanted to spend much more time either with the characters.
