Enjoy reading all types of books, this one is worth the time.

I¿m not a reviewer but, an avid reader. This book held my interest and I didn¿t want to put it down. The plot moved along, kept you engaged, and made you feel the erotic charge between the two women. Of course, when you take the time to read, you choose the subject matter you are in the mood for at the time, I wasn¿t looking for Faulkner when I bought the book. Looking forward to reading another Sharon Bowers novel!

The best of the Xena "uber" thrillers!

If you don't know what Xena uber is you don't read online where most of these excellent first novels originated with fan fiction. This remains one of the best with the characters of Xena and Gabrielle perfectly translated (or reincarnated) to a modern milieu. It covers the whole dark history of our tragic heroine, an undercover agent gone bad and her relationship with the young investigative reporter fascinated by her, and is a great erotic and suspenseful read in its own write.[sic] I read it online and then immediately purchased it in paperback and read it over again as soon as it arrived. It's riveting and well written and a special poignance and resonance pervades the tale since we know who they really are.Actresses dream of having roles like this written for them and here they provide the direct inspiration.
