    OK

While I respect Michael J. Fox for his work, his autobiography is nothing noteworthy.

    Highly Recommend

This book is an easy read filled with some light hearted stories of a boy turning into a man and all the ups and downs that come with that adventure. Sometimes the stories are filled with painful insights into and illness that will ultimately end his life. But underneath it all there is hope and a positive outlook throughout every page.

MJ Fox has a tremendously positive attitude about his illness, and shares his trials with family and work as he deals with the struggles to cope. Although he has some derogatory comments about the UF Neurology Department, he seems to have continued to explore the best ways for him to survive his "gift".

    Excellent read!

As a neurology physician assistant, I see many PD patients thoughout my workday. It was extremely easy for me to appreciate this book. It helped me to "feel"and understand the many symptoms they often tell me about. This book was very well-done and I would highly recommend it to any healthcare professional that treats PD patients. It will definitely allow you to help give the patient the best treatment they deserve because it is almost as if you are able to see it from their perspective and walk a mile in their shoes. Definitely a very inspiring and beautifully written book!!!!!
