Lunatic brings out the worst
Lunatic leaves off where Chaos ended. The three heroes return to Other Earth, only to find it has drastically changed. The Horde have taken over everything, and the "albinos" have mysteriously gone into hiding in the desert. The rules have also changed as Elyon's pools have become red as blood. As Darsal, Johnis, and Silvie struggle to fit into this new world of theirs, challenges arise as a mysterious woman seduces Johnis. This woman also brings a plot to bring down the Horde, which Johnis listens to eagerly. But is this woman from Elyon? or Teeleh? Or something else entirely?
Lunatic is a great read even though the style of writing has changed once again and i'm not a big fan of the new style. It is now harder to follow and not as original as the past Lost Books. All together, Lunatic is a fast-paced well thought out book and this book and ELyon are a must read for Circle and Lost Book fans. I didnt know Dekker was going to write these two but i'm extremely glad he did and i'm hoping for one more!1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Must read.
In Ted dekker and Kaci Hill's Lunatic, our three are trapped in earth. I liked this book because it picked up right where chaos ended, and it takes place two years after white. (Im reading the books in this order-black, chosen, infidel, renegade, chaos, red, white, lunatic, elyon, green) however as i am currently reading, where is thomas hunter? cassak and warryn and sucrow and marak? these characters werent in white, and they make a random appearance. Also, if you read this, you HAVE to get elyon because the story isnt complete. Pretty good so far so im getting right back to reading. Happy reading!

Ruined the Series!
The series should not have added a fifth and sixth book. And after reading them, I am convinced, they were after thoughts.

This book had nothing to do with the LOST BOOKS or THOMAS. Instead all you get in this and Elyon is a crappy love story. The only similarity is that they used the characters from the LOST BOOKS to tell the story.
The book is poorly written, confusing and boring. What makes it worse is that it ends mid-stream requiring you to read the next book. I did hoping it would bring it all together. No luck.
If you read the first four, you have read the entire series. DON'T waste your money on this garbage. What is worse is they could have done this all in one book and saved me some money.
These were so bad, Ted Dekker has lost me as a fan!
I only gave it one star so I could leave this review. -

Ted Dekker always writes very interesting stories.
I love the way that Ted Dekker has continued the circle trilogy with this collection of books. Exciting, thrilling and always enjoyable.
