    Truely Captivating!!!

This book was totally full of excitement and totally riveting. Cameron Dean is truely an outstanding author and writer! I was held captive from the beginning of the book through the end. It held romance, intrigue and mystery! The raw passion between Candance Steele and Ash Donaghue is off the charts. Never before have I read a book that played so much with my heart strings. Way to go Cameron Dean!
Candace is working security at the Scheherazade casino once again. She is trying to make sure everything goes smoothly for the New Years Eve celebration. The casino is hosting a huge poker tournament and there will even be TV telecasts and reporters. However, there is something brewing with the Board and the "Brat Pack". Something big is about to go down. Will Candace be able to find out what is about to happen and stop it before it does? Somehow she feels Ash has something to do with the thing that is about to happen on New Years Eve. Even though she doesn't want to see Ash (because her feelings get all twisted), she must swallow her fears and try to get some help from him. Ash is a Vampire, and he must know what is going on. Ash is so in love with Candance and wants to protect her, and most of all he wants her to become like him. He always wants Candace no matter how may times she dismisses it. Will Ash help the one he loves; only to put her live in more danger? You have got to read this book....you will truely surrender and be held captive while you read this amazing book!

    A reviewer

I am a avid reader of 25 years , I have read some really great authors as well as some bad . But I do have to say, Ms Dean really put together a great story, but you must read all 3 books because it pulls its self together, I hope Ms Dean puts out a 4th book ,I myself think she left use hanging in External Hunger, with a ending with Ash & Sweetpeas

Book #2 and does not end

I did not like this book. I kept thinking it was going to get better, but it didn't. Cameron, self proclaimed vampire killer, works as a casino girl/bouncer, is supposedly 'in love' with a vampire, but hates vampires. Well, it just gets stupider the more you get into the story. Basically, Cameron has a fling with a man who is there gambling, while she 'loves' her vampire who also has sex with others. UGH! The book doesn't end either! And, guess what, the next book (yeah, I read it) doesn't end either and just gets stupider.

This vampire thriller has cross-genre appeal

Ever since Ash almost drained Candace dry, she has hated and loved the vampire. Although she doesn¿t know why he stopped short of turning her, she wants nothing to do with him even though they both live in Las Vegas. He swears he will never let her go and she does her best to keep him at arm¿s length not always successfully. She is able to sense when a vamp is near and she uses her silver chopsticks to kill the human bloodsuckers.------------- Las Vegas is a happening place for vampires and her boss at the casino where she works wants her to make sure the Shez is a vampire free zone. The Shez is hosting the No Limits Foundation Charity Poker Tournament and one of the participants is Senator Cabot Hamllyn, the most likely Democratic Party candidate for the presidency. The tournament culminates on New Years Eve and rumors abound about there being a con and vampires are involved in the scam. She also hears word of a vampire war and warns Ash, not realizing that the person who will feel scammed the most is she.------------------ This vampire thriller has cross-genre appeal. Readers who like romance, horror and paranormal tales will find LUSCIOUS CRAVINGS will satisfy most reading appetites. The audience will find out why Ash almost drained Candace dry and why he stopped and the answer will take readers totally by surprise. A fast paced plot, interesting characters and lots of action and romance make this a read for the genre connoisseur.------------- Harriet Klausner
