An interesting read for giant monster fans

From my understanding this is a Japanese novel translated into English. Now this is my first translated novel, and while I'm sure some of the finer details were lost in the translation, it is a very enjoyable book. Like it say on the back cover, monster (or kaiju) attacks are treated like any natural disaster and it features a team who's job it is to study and help develop strategies to counter act them. This isn't a regular novel per se. It's broken down into, for a lack of a better term, case files, each with a beginning middle and end.

This book consist of five cases, four with some interesting, and a couple of interesting original, kaijus and a fifth featuring a multiheaded dragon of myth. If you are a fan of Godzilla or Gamera or any other giant monster you may want to check it out.
