Come, walk the halls! Step into the Lineup! Gaze into the Merlot of Humanity!
If you are looking for a book that describes the 'tooth'n'nails' of the sexual involvement between a 'working lady' and her client, stop here, 'Madam' isn't for you! Sorry!!! But, if you want to take a literary walk through the halls of a 'thousand stories', then 'Madam' is a great start! 'Not so quick! There's no running here!' Just a wonderful pace, that allows you travel the internal workings as seen through eyes of this outstanding writer. But I must warn you, this is not just chapters, about brightly lit signs, that becon a way on a moonless night, nor is it, of the neverending ring of a bell that calls all to 'the Lineup, it's not even a 'call to order' for or against prostitution! What 'Madam' is, is a terderly written work, that captures the mulifaceted lives of all those that live, work and play at a brothel. Madam, will take you beyond the bimming 'parlor', past the smoke filled bar, down the cooly lit hallway and deposit you into the hearts and souls of the folks that call this brothel their home and all that live with them, their family! This an outstanding book! There is little doubt, 'When God was mixing up a batch of humanity, he/she made sure this author got an extra serving!' Bravo!!!!!!!Was this review helpful?
