Another Hot Bullet Catcher Novel!
Roxanne St. Claire has a fabulous imagination and takes her readers on magical, exciting journeys! I bet everyone who reads a Bullet Catcher wants her very own Body Guard. These guys are great looking, strong, sensitive, honest and loyal and oh-so-much fun! This book takes us on a journey to the high seas and a diving expedition with twists and turns.

Con is the newest Bullet Catcher and he has a strong will and determination to do the right thing. He is a quick thinker and saves the girl and gets saved by her also. The meeting between Lizzie and Con gets the book off to a very hot, sensual beginning. And it does take off from there! They are dragged through lots of complications and treachery and end up fighting for their lives.
It's a clever story that stays exciting through the end! A must read for Roxanne St. Claire fans. Hopefully she will let us know where we can get our very own Bullet Catcher someday!! Until then, I'll be reading and re-reading her books! -
Is he a good guy or a bad guy? Which is she?
Another Bullet Catcher goes after the bad guy; and gets the girl! As with the others, these characters stand out and get the job done. And, the suspense builds right from the beginning.

Make Her Pay Delivers
Roxanne St. Claire delivers another stellar romantic suspense story in Make Her Pay.

Constantine Xenakis is giving a second chance at being a Bullet Catcher. He will not let anyone stand in his way. His first assignment is aboard the treasure ship The Gold Digger and his job is to flush out a thief. His first night aboard he spies someone slinking into the treasure room. Con catches Lizzie Dare red handed. It bothers Con that he is extremely attracted to the person he thinks is a thief.
Lizzie Date is aboard the Gold Digger trying to bring honor back to her ancestors. She is convinced that once she finds the artifacts she can correct history. But standing in her way is a sexy diver, Constantine Xenakis. Lizzie takes Con into her confidence when strange things begin to happen aboard the ship.
Con and Lizzie's attraction takes them into places neither had thought would come their way. They both have trust issues that keep clouding their perspective. The current danger to them both has them putting their trust in each other 100%.
Make Her Pay has everything I love in a Roxanne St. Claire novel. Hot and sexy heroes, strong and secure heroines and a mystery to solve. You will always enjoy the ride when you read any of her books. -
Again, I'm not too impressed by this new series.
The new series lacks the warmth that the previous novels had.

Excellent romantic suspense
Constantine Xenakis is working undercover on a dive ship in an effort to find the person or persons responsible for recovered priceless artifacts. Imagine his surprise when he's only on the ship for a couple of hours and discovers fellow diver Lizzie Dare sneaking into the lab where the artifacts are held. After an initial confrontation, it appears that the two have similar objectives when it comes to the artifacts. Con's reaction to Lizzie is instantaneous and heated, which makes cozying up to her to keep her under watch no hardship whatsoever. But Con is hoping for a long-awaited, permanent return to the Bullet Catchers and soon finds himself torn between doing what's right and doing the job he's been probationally hired to do. Given his attraction to Lizzie, Con soon realizes that the job, his future, everything, hinges on whether or not he's willing to break her heart.

Lizzie's motives are much more personal than Con's and the emotion blanketing a heart that's heavy after her father's death is fueling her determination to return the artifacts where they rightfully belong. Constantine Xenakis is an unexpected force to be reckoned with. As if. There is very little reckoning with Con. He's the most intimidating, capable, frustrating male that Lizzie has ever encountered and she knows that staying on her toes, the very ones that he repeatedly makes curl, is the only way she'll be able to keep her wits and take possession of the sunken treasures. It isn't long before Con and Lizzie realize that they're surrounded by evil, on ship and on shore, and their fight soon goes beyond keeping the artifacts safe to keeping themselves alive.
MAKE HER PAY brings to a close the Bullet Catcher series that has brought readers so much pleasure over the years. I'm excited for the new series Roxanne St.Claire is working on, but at the same time, I'm extremely disappointed to see this series come to an end. I know that authors appreciate their readers and happily absorb the positive comments and feedback they get from them about their work, but wonder if they fully understand how deeply their talents touch (and stay with) readers? I have gotten my hands on every one of the Bullet Catcher books as soon as they were released, earlier if I was lucky enough to get them for review, and I truly think that I enjoyed the storytelling in this particular book more than any other in the series. Con is unashamedly a thief and Lizzie is a gentle, kind-hearted soul who has seemingly reached right in and grabbed hold of his heart, making it her own. Together they simply sizzle. I am trying to content myself with the knowledge that Roxanne St. Claire is hard at work on a new series, but in the meantime, I give MAKE HER PAY my highest recommendation! -
the latest Bullet Catcher's thriller is a super romantic suspense
Treasure hunter Judd Paxton is at sea unsanctioned by the State of Florida as he salvages booty from the legendary sunken El Falcone. However, someone is plundering his treasure so he hires the Bullet Catcher firm to catch a thief. CEO Lucy Sharpe assigns former Navy SEAL Constantine Xenakis with the mission as a way to test his new resolutions and besides she needs a thief to catch a thief.

Constantine quickly finds dive specialist Lizzie Dare inside the locked room filled with booty. She explains to him she wants to prevent Paxton, whom she describes as a modern day raider, from selling the sunken galleon's gems, especially the priceless two Bombay Blue Diamonds, on the black market to some client; as she insists the two gems belong to her family. His heart quickly belongs to Lizzie who makes him dizzy with desire, but his job is to take care of the client. Still he believes her story that someone else is the thief and that adversary has allies on board willing to kill a bullet catcher aspirant and the diver he loves.
A bit over the top (or perhaps under the sea is more descriptive), the latest Bullet Catcher's thriller is a super romantic suspense starring two fascinating lead characters trapped on a ship off the Florida Atlantic coast amidst some nasty villains. Filled with plenty of action and a terrific location that enhances the tension, MAKE HER PAY is a super thriller as the confident Constantine knows what he must do to "steal" Gallagher's job; but that means the client is almost always right while his gut and heart go with Lizzie.
