    Check them out!

I bought this book not just for myself but for two other ladies that have joined me in quilting. These are patterns that we are going to be working on both individually and as a group. We can't wait to get started.

    makes a quilt look possible

This book was recommended by an experienced quilter when I asked if it would be reasonable to think I could make a quilt for a gift. I have basic sewing skills. Reading through the book has encouraged me to go ahead and begin. Directions are clear. Steps are logical and easy to understand. With the basic blocks, there are many options for a finished design. Here goes!

    MUST-HAVE for LOG CABIN QUILTERS

This book is a MUST-HAVE for all log cabin quilters, especially if you are a new quilter. Easy, step by step instructions. I never realized just how many different patterns the log cabin quilt can be made into.

    I Also Recommend:

    Not for Beginners Only

Eleanor Burns has a way of guiding you through the process of creating something wonderful from a piece of fabric. Her attention to detail does not go unnoticed by those who are learning the basics of quilting. And for those who have quilted a time or two before, she refreshes their memory about the process as well as the optional outcomes. I would recommend any of her books for those who want to journey down the road of making quilts...making memories...

    Absolutely Recommended

I've been quilting for over 10 years now. This was my very first quilt book. I'm so glad I chose this one. I still recommend it to people. My girlfriend was pregnant when I made my first quilt and her 10 year old son still sleeps with my first effort! Once you master the log cabin, go on to others in the series that strike your fancy! WARNING- quilting is very addictive!

    Great Book

Ms. Burns has some wonderful books out. This one is GREAT! Step by step color pictures of a log cabin quilt. That is all that is in this book just on log cabin quilts. But shows you how to place your blocks to form many and many different kinds of designs. From a baby quilt to a king size one. And log cabin quilts are sooooo easy to do!

    New Quilter Succeeds!

As a beginner, I was overwhelmed by books that were too intricate, too time consuming, and assumed I knew what I was doing. This wonderful text took me gently by the hand, assuming rightfully so, that I had no idea where to begin or proceed. Success with confidence. Thanks Eleanor.

    So Easy

I am a new quilter and really appreciate the simple step by step instructions given by Ms Burns . It has made this endeavor hassel free. I had tried a few books and methods before and the quilt always looked like a beginner made it. This one actually is one I dont have to be ashamed of ! I would appreciate a little more help with color placement however .
