You have to read this book!
A very difficult subject to tackle - moving on after losing a loved one - but Kimberly Van Meter does an outstanding job on making Sammy Halvorsen realistic and believable. He's a jerk to everyone and anyone at the beginning - you feel sorry for him, yet you don't like him so much. His change to becoming a decent man is very subtle - which makes his story that much more believable. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Characters from her Emmett's Mill series make appearances as well in the story - tying them all together and making this reader want to go back and visit them all.
Kudos to Kimberly Van Meter for writing an outstanding story.
