I wish I could give this book no stars whatsoever. BN needs to create a rating distribution with 0 stars. This book was HORRIBLE. Absolutely one of the worst books I have read in a long time. In fact, it's so bad, I deleted it from my Nook Library. I almost never give reviews online. This is only the 3rd time in my life, and each time it was because the book was so bad I had to do it. This was a complete waste of my time and money. The only reason I kept reading was because I just KNEW it had to get better. I thought it couldn't possibly be THIS bad. The plot was ridiculous and the book itself was mired in grammatical errors such as "he replied in condensation" as opposed to "he replied in condescension". I only tried this author because the book had high ratings and I was waiting for books from authors that I actually know to become available. However, I failed to remember that an author can have their friends and family members give them 5 star ratings or do it themselves anonymously. The people who gave this 3 and 4 stars were being extremely generous. Next time, I will actually READ the reviews as opposed to just assuming that a good star rating means a good book.

Only Ok
I have bought 3 books by this author after reading the reviews and seeing that it's the genre I enjoy but I'm done after this and I think it was the best one of hers I read. I really love me some paranormal erotica- Jory Strong, Barbara Elsborg, Anya Bast, Sharon Page but I can't get into this authors books. I don't know why I keep thinking maybe a different book would be better. This one the characters are better than the other 2 I read and the sex seemed better, but the story was a little boring.

Good Story...
The romance is there, but the characters are kind of weak. I think there should have been more to Dani and her witch powers. Don't get me wrong, the begining of the book is hot!!! but it kind of dies down after.

MAN AFTER MIDNIGHT is an excellent romantic fantasy due to the powerful fully developed star-crossed lead lovers.
Guardian of the Light Witch Dani Wallace seduces the hunk who oozes forbidden darkness to her that she cannot resist. However, she is clueless that he is Prince Casedren who comes from an underworld where Lucifer's offspring thrive. He teaches her passion and demands her surrender as his consort, but though tempted and craving his touch, she refuses to obey his order.--------------
Casedren also refuses to back away as his slightest caress sends her into ecstasy and him with an out of control libido; he knows Dani will be his royal mate once he seduces her soul like he has her body. As they play their gender war of lovemaking and denial, his younger twin tries to usurp the throne from him, but with Dani and the sex magic they create, he believes they can save her world and his realm.--------------
MAN AFTER MIDNIGHT is an excellent romantic fantasy due to the powerful fully developed star-crossed lead lovers. Dani is spirited and brave while Casedren knows what he wants and goes after her. His chip off the old block twin brings skillful sinister malice to a terrific tale that will have readers rooting for the heroes and craving for more entries in the dark paranormal romantic world of Devyn Quinn.---------
