SUPERMAN: Man of Steel

So far MoS has been the best movie of 2013. That is bound to change with hunger games later on but so far, it reigns as number one. Why? Becaus it had a story. Because it had plot. And because it had heart. Instead of focusing soely on jokes, action, and one liners, it focused on a reverting story that showed the darker and edgier side of our beloved heros. The storytelling was great. It absorbed me into the chacters minds and emotions. Amazing! Despite all this praise...i will say that this movie was far from perfect...but it was pretty dayum goo.

    Now what I expected.

I know that Superman had to be 'updated,' but this adaptation really destroyed the essence of Superman. He's was pretty much an confused person traveling the world with no direction. I know the point of this movie was to make Superman more human, but it really just turned him into a wander. No life, no direction, no goal and no hope. That sounds much to human to be Superman. Superman is different, he always has been. It's a good book as a book itself, but not what I'd consider a good Superman book.
