Fun way to learn about Relativity!
It's summertime here in the North Hemisphere, and that means a break from school work -- but not for Minagi, who has to turn in a report on Relativity before the summer ends. When the headmaster of the school tries to give everyone an assignment over summer vacation, Minagi protests that it is unfair, and so she gives the assignment to just him, instead, letting his fellow students off the hook. Luckily, his pretty physics teacher Alisa Uraga volunteers to help him get ready for his report. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. And from there, they jump right in. The complexities of Relativity -- including its discovery, special and general relativity, the constant speed of light (no matter where you are, or how fast you are going), the variability of time, mass, and space, and much more -- are covered in a quick, fast-moving and easy-to-understand way. In-depth chapter summaries take you into the ramifications of what you've just covered.
Turning to the Japanese version of the Rumpelstiltskin folk tale, a rocket ship and space station, a "Transmorpher" superhero, and a curious series of interruptions from a pretty girl and an oddly talking dog, help them along their painless and fascinating journey into (what were once) the mysteries of Relativity. Plus, every once in a while, manga series like to take a detour from the will-they-won't-they romantic storylines to just relax at the pool or beach, and this is that kind of story. So, this Summer you can take The Manga Guide to Relativity with you on your vacation, and have fun reading, and learning, as you ponder the surprising truths of relativity!
