    I love this one.

It is for a Young Adult. You need a little bit of Bible knowledge. If you do, it will give new way to look at Noh's ark.

Not quite at the level of her best work, but a lot of fun.

I go way back with this series, but only recently reread this one for the first time in, what, two decades? It's quite enjoyable and reflects Ms. L'Engles interesting take on the pre-Abrahamic times, and I think is ideal for her younger audiences. It doesn't quite have the same impact as the first three in the series, but brings clarity instead. Sandy and Dennys are well fleshed-out, and keep the book rolling.

    L'engle does it again

Many Waters is rich with fascinating mythological characters such as the angelic, healing seraphim and the more threatening nephilim both of whom frequently change their earthly forms. Tiny shaggy mammoths are household pets; unicorns can be believed into existence.

    They Just Keep Getting Better

I love the time books because they just keep getting better and better. Each sequel surpasses the one before it. This is one of the best...I just wish there were more books about Sandy and Denneys!

    One of the Best

This is one of the best of the "Time" books. I wish L'Engle would write more novels starring the Twins. Although Meg and Charles are interesting characters, they are hard to relate to because they are so different from people in real life. The twins on the other hand almost seemed like real people with emotions and feelings. L'Engle is very good with characterization so that the reader cares for the characters as though they were real people. The way L'Engle mixes fantasy, sci-fi, and religion is very fascinating, making her work very unique.

This is 'many' a good book!

I really enjoyed this book. It was one of my favorites for a long time through elementary school. I thought the way that L'Engle intertwined religion with science fiction. I think that the book was very good and should be read at all ages.

    Wonderful In Many Ways!

It is such a great book! I love Madeleine L'Engle's Work. It continues on the Time Quartet. Though I would recommend it for grades 5 and up, and you might have to read it more than once to really get it fully. But otherwise, ITS TERRIFIC!!
