A woman's view of Marilyn.
Gloria Steinem gives a very touching view on the life of Marilyn Monroe. George Barris contributes photos--The last photos ever taken of Marilyn Monroe professionally. I truly enjoyed this book (I own the older hard back), and always recommend this to anyone who is just learning about Marilyn, as well as someone who enjoys beautiful pictures of Marilyn.

Not just another tabletop book-
I expected a photo book. I took a long time to read Ms. Steinem's text. When I did, the text brought insights that I never expected. Steinhem allows us to have a fresh look at a woman brought down by the age she lived in, not just by drugs and liquor. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
