Marriage Minded Lord by Sandra Sookoo is a spicy story of romance and redemption. It is an adult tale that has enough charm to encourage women to turn page after page. This will enthrall the best of romance readers. It is a must-read for the ladies out there and the lonely of heart. This book is worth your money to the last page.

Clarice is employed by Lady Olivia Drummond, a woman who has as many secrets as lovers. The lady is set to trap Felix Darrington permanently and make his estate hers. A major problem arises when Felix falls head over heels for Clarice, the lady’s companion. His fixation for her puts Clarice in a bind as she knows her employer’s ambitions.

This kindles Olivia’s wrath, and she will spare no one’s feelings to remind the girl of her lowly status and that her mother was a whore. The woman goes as far as beating Clarice one time that Felix seeks her out, and another time she has Clarice kidnapped. She will barely stop short of death to get Clarice out of the way of her plans.

This read is a good match for adult lovers of spicy romance and good all-around stories. It is a great book to curl up with by a fire and dream all night of a handsome lord. The author does a nice job of writing of a bygone era and making it work well for readers. Caution, there is a lovemaking scene at the end of the book.
