Such a sweet story
I love the classics and any book by Clare Turlay Newberry is an instant favorite. Charmingly illustrated, its a story about a cat who eventually comes to love having a bunny in the house.

Wonderful and classic
I gave this book to a 3 year old and he demanded immediate reading. There were other children present from 3 through 7 and all loved it! The message of this delightful read was appropriate for each of the ages. It is now being enjoyed every evening before bed. This book is destined to become a classic at our house!

Sweet story, lovely illustrations.
Clare Newberry's adoration for her subjects shines through her illustrations. They're simple but vibrant and engaging. The story centers on Oliver the cat--how he likes routine and enjoys the quiet of his indoor life, and how he reacts to Marshmallow, a baby rabbit who comes to live with him. I plan to buy this book as a gift for the young children in my life.
