While the other baby sitters club members sit with the other school friends at lunch they had. Mary Anne was left by herself. Because the baby sitters club was the friends she grew up with. She was too busy with the baby sitters club to have any other school friends.
But one day at lunch, she was sitting by herself and this one new girl came up beside her and asked Mary Anne if she could sit with her. Mary Anne said yes you certainly can. They became really good friends they ended up going over each others houses and watching movies after school. But then one evening Mary Anne was babysitting and there was a big problem and nobody to go to for the problem. She solved all herself and her dad was proud of her and he quit being so over protective.
Mary Anne sure does save the day and manages to get the Baby sitters club back together again.
I feel that the novel Mary Anne saves the day is a wonderful story it teaches kids to make new friends. And to forgive somebody if they have done something wrong to you. I just think it is a very good book for kids to read. -
