Mary of Carisbrooke is a tale of a young girl,Mary,who refuses to betray her king,who finds love amid treachery and betrayal and stays true to herself.It shows how fate can change things in a moment.It is rich in detail and is beautifully written.A great story of power,sacrifice,deceit,betrayal,a king and his children,and the betrayal of friend and foe. A must read for any and all historical fans.
