    Great and thought-provoking read

If you like intense adventure, philosophy, humor and anything Neil writes, then this book is for you! His style of writing is very captivating as he takes the reader along on his adventures in West Africa via bicycle. Although I've not had any particular interest on biking through Africa, I felt the intuitive need to pick this book up at one of their shows, and I have no regrets! It was a challenge to put this one down for any length of time.

I Didn't Want it to End

This book is about Neil Peart's cycling adventure through Cameroon. While I think it will appeal to a wide variety of readers, those who've ever been to West Africa will certainly get a kick out of it. I found myself laughing and shaking my head while I remembered some of my own travels. Peart is a very descriptive writer so the sights and sounds of Cameroon really come to life. An excellent read - I was actually upset when I reached the last page.

    Worth a second read

Like any good lyric there is more to the story than what the first telling can share. It's not until the finishing pages that the real purpose behind Peart's story is clear. To really understand this story will take a second reading.

The first read is a great adventure travel story but there is much more. If you cant get on your bike and strip yourself to the core read Masked Rider and discover more about being human.

    Excellent Read!

I could not put this book down, and was sad when I read the last page. I didn't want the story to end. Neil Peart's talents extend far beyond his musical abilities. I highly recommend this page turner.
