My 8year old loves this game!!!! It wasn't just math problems but a fast paced interactive game that she could really get into. She loved beating her high score and working to get 100%. She started the weekend have a little trouble with do both addition and subtraction together now no problem. it was the little extra that she needed to get her confidence up. I love the options that come with the game as a parent they are not always available.

Disappointed

My son plays a version of Math Blaster in Kindergarten so I was excited to see it here. Good graphics and good options for skill. But, it is just one game. You fly through a wormhole and shoot things and complete math problems to earn more blasts. That's it. He had fun ...
My son plays a version of Math Blaster in Kindergarten so I was excited to see it here. Good graphics and good options for skill. But, it is just one game. You fly through a wormhole and shoot things and complete math problems to earn more blasts. That's it. He had fun playing it for about 10 minutes, then got bored. Very disappointed.

Part video game, part math drills, all fun

This is a fun and exciting video game that happens to have some math facts in it... in other words, you and your kid will be happy he is playing it!!!! It says age 7+ but my 5yo does just fine. A little bit more variety in selecting the kind of problems and more variety with the enemies/increasing difficulty as one progresses would be nice additions to futue updates, as well as player log ins and a high score list, but even without this it is an ideal ap and a great value. We got our money's worth on day 1! Get it!
