High Praise. The Best in Young Adult

Matthew Livingston, teenage mind-bender, stalks a killer, who is actually stalking him while terrorizing a town. Calculated, cold, and concise, Matthew Livingston is an incredible suspense filled mystery with extrodinary characters, written intelligently from an author who is both poignant and has a sense of humor.

    Highly Recommended

From The Mid-West Book Review 2011. The drive for power so often leaves dead bodies in the wake. "Matthew Livingston and the Politics of Death" is the third in the Matthew Livingston series circling Matthew as he enters into the world of politics and finds it trickier than a murder mystery. But both soon overlap, as author Marco Conelli draws on his own experience as an NYPD detective to create a highly enticing story. "Matthew Livingston and the Politics of Death" is not to be missed, highly recommended

    I Also Recommend:

Incredible. Since Marco Conelli's last offering Matthew Livingston and the Millionaire Murder, I have had to suffer through Young Adult offerings from John Grigham and James Patterson...yawn. Now the third installment in the Matthew Livingston mystery series is here and I tore through my advanced copy with a reading frenzy. This is the BEST one! Matthew returns in rare forms and takes risks galore when he enters into a game of strategy with a sniper who only took out the front-runner in a major political election and has eluded the police and the FBI. Testing theories and satisfying his curiosities Matthew, the neurotic Dennis Sommers, and the amazing Sandra Small try to expose a murderer before he can satisfy his killing ways again. The three teens employ technology in their quest and risk their own safety to face off against a deranged adversary in a final showdown, a showdown they may not live to see. The scene with Dennis and the professional wrestlers is hilarious. Matthew Livingston is pure Young adult delight and is loved by adults as well. This is a series I could not recommend more. It's the perfect cure for the reluctant young reader. No wonder writers like Mary Higgins Clark and EJ Wagner love Marco Conelli. Okay when is book 4 coming out???
