Max and Ruby Workbooks are the BEST!!
My son loves the Max and Ruby workbooks! We have bought them for the past 2 holidays. For Valentine's Day there was 4 DIY valentines and for Easter there was a create-your-own egg complete with stickers! Great for reinforcement of pre-school and kindergarten skills done in an entertaining way. My son looks forward to completing the pages and always asks for more! Was this review helpful? my child loved it!
My daughter, who is three, loves Max and Ruby, and this book just adds to our ever growing collection. She enjoyed this story just as much as all of the others, a must for a Max and Ruby enthusiast! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Great fun, but limited reusability (it is a sticker/coloring book afterall)
Most parents of a Max and Ruby Fan will know that beyond the excellent original books Rosemary Wells, the ammount of merchandise available based upon the Nick Jr. show of the same name is sparse at best. So when we find something we grab it as soon as we can, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. In this case we got our money's worth, twice. When we first bought it, our oldest daughter colored every picture, used every sticker and did most of the activities within the first week, if not day. At almost three years old she was able to understand most, but not all of the activities and most were engaging enough to be educational and fun. Though to be fair, once she went through it, she was less interested doing the activities again. As any book of this kind however it's to be expected. Once the pages are colored and stickers used it was looked at occasionally.
It's a year later and we just purchased this book for a second time seeing it in a local B&N. She had the same fun all over again. This time the focus was on stickers, but she still enjoyed coloring and doing the activities. Though we had to buy it twice to get any additional use out of it.
Scoop it up if you can find them, they are usually available online at B&N but seldom anywhere else. We've also been able to find M&R (as my wife and I refer to them when talking in code) toys and games at B&N stores, including easter plush toys.

KIDS LOVED THE STORY
It was meant to be an Easter Basket Stuffer but when all three kids saw the book they grabbed and have not put it down. It has had them entertained and reading teaching each other new words even the youngest of them all. It is not a good bedtime story only because they get so excited to read the book and do not want to sleep. But a great gift and addition to their Max and Ruby books. Was this review helpful?
