Mayan Code: Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind

An Amazing Book! One of my Favorites, ever.

I plan to buy this for my nook,
but I have also bought the paper version, sometime last year.

It was one of the few books, in the last few years,
that I could not put down until it was to the end!

This woman, The Author, Barbara Hand Clow,
Is a beautiful person who is very in touch with nature, the cosmos, and the Universe itself.

She knows her stuff!

For anyone who is aware of the whole "2012" thing,
or anyone who is interested in it...
Would walk away from this book with much great new wisdom/knowledge.

This woman is very close to the actual Mayan Elders still alive today..
and She does know what she is talking about!

Anyway,
This book will give a great glimpse into the world we are currently moving into. (and it is far different than the reality we currently exist within).

This is not about "the world ending", or about "doomsday"...
Not at all.

But you must read it to see what i mean....

If you have even the slightest interest in this subject(s)..
you will not be disappointed.

Current event information given from one of the living Mayan Elders

I have been a fan and reader of Barbara Hand Clow's website for about 2 years now. I read her new moon astrology reports faithfully and that is how I was led to read this book. She has chosen the works of Dr. Carl Calleman on the Mayan Calendar, whose works I have been reading now since he released Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time in 2004.

Barbara's book has reinforced my understanding of the Mayan Calendar as she is also one of the living Mayan Elders and is trusted to teach the correct understanding of that culture from her perspective. It is good to see that we are now getting the best information available as there is too much of the "doomsday" scenario of 2011-2012 being spread out there.

I highly recommend this book for the serious student of the Mayan Calendar.

Changing Consciousness

Clow states that humans were quarantined from the rest of the Universe after the flood of 9500 BCE.

Earth is an isolated planet in the midst of an evolving
and highly organized interplanetary, intergalactic, and
multidimensional universe.a member of a collective
Universe that functions by universal law, and life
was planted here and cultivated under the
stewardship of more advanced societies. (180)

She believes the end date of The Mayan Calendar, which traditionally is 2012, is actually between 2008 and 2011. But Clow is not predicting a destructive end; she predicts a spiritual or evolutionary shift, a change of consciousness. Clow sees this event as the end of Earth's quarantine from the Universe and the decline of our aggressive and destructive ways. This new era will provide more opportunity for contact with beings from other star systems, such as the Pleiades.

Clow cites many references that help validate her work. She discusses "intelligent design" and her problems with Darwin's evolution that don't account for "gaps" in our advances. She suggests that time acceleration is occurring and that we have already begun to feel a quickening of the energy around us. She claims we have all been feeling that heightened awareness since 1998.

She encourages us to clear out the toxins from our past, so that we can move forward. She believes that "old junk" needs to be released, such as memories of catastrophic floods from our distant past. These memories are not yet conscious ones. We see future destruction because of our unacknowledged or unprocessed past. With time acceleration, the traumas and emotional blocks are coming to light, and the Iraq War is helping us remember. Our challenge is to listen to and then clear these old hurts.
