I thought Mayday kept you on the edge of your seat. You could feel the tension in the cockpit. I loved it.

marginally good

Mayday is a very early DeMille novel and his inexperience is apparent. The entire second half of the book has so many contrived scenes it made a DeMille fan (me) disappointed.

    FAST-PACED

A thriller in aviation. The overall story is good but rather fantastic. Fun to see the technical aspects of airlines and military.

    Nance's 'PANDORA'S CLOCK' is better!

I read Mayday first & I truly enjoyed it. I thought it was the greatest airline disaster story --- until I read Nance's 'Pandora's CLock'. No offense to DeMille's followers.
