The plot was full of twist and turns some were predictable but others took me by complete surprise, there was humor to lighten up the story and amazing characters to help it along! I really enjoyed this book and I eagerly await the next one.

Really made for very young readers, this book is simple and lightweight. Even if you like some youthful mystery/adventure 'like magic tree house only a tad older', this will feel poorly done. As a teacher, I can't recommend this book. Most other books in this genre are ...

    Such a disappointment

Riordan's Maze of Bones is so poorly written I returned it for a refund. I cannot believe such a poor book was even published. The author can't even manage to make the plot interesting.

    more from this reviewer

The 39 Clues good, bad, or you guessed it, it was horrible.

The 39 Clues is a good book, wouldn¿t you think? Yes you might think It would be good by the first couple of chapters, but it was a huge let down by Rick Riordan, especially after the Percy Jackson series. The mystery was so obvious I knew what was going to happen on every page. The characters were always saying the weirdest things. It¿s about two siblings, a boy and a girl, who go to their grandmother¿s funeral. Little did they know that they¿d be chosen to do something extraordinary. Or they could take 1million dollars and leave.

    Read this

Ok so i absolutely love rick riordan and i read this book about a year ago and thought it was pretty good. But recently i read a book called the westing game whivh is an old classic and it seems like riordan took the westing game and made it more modern. He should really come up with an original idea..

    39 clues

Ummmmmmmmmmmm............. i think this book is ok. Rick Riordan has written many other books that i liked moree, like: the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, the Kane Chronicles, & the Heros of Olympus. I also recomend: The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins; The Underland Chronicles also by Suzanne Collins. And yes, i have read all these books, and liked them better. Although i only read a sample of the 39 clues, so, i didn't read much. :s Soooooooo..... i'm not sure.
